My journal has become mostly friends-only. I've become much choosier about who I add to my friends list. That said, if you're interested in hopping aboard, add me and leave me a comment. You're always welcome to just hang out and read my public entries.

I have become a rather more private person since joining LiveJournal in April 2004, so I have cut down on the personal details here. If you want to know more, you can leave a comment in my journal.

mama_gryphon and we have two children.
We put our 15-year-old cat to sleep in July 2006 following a long bout with diabetes and kidney problems. Since then two new furkids have joined our clan: a miniature poodle and a tabby mix who bears a remarkable resemblance to our late kitty. We inherited these two from a dear family friend who passed away in October 2006.
I've bounced around quite a few places in my career as a Web and software developer. I currently work for a large telecommunications provider.
Politically I am a libertarian and call myself a rational anarchist. I have "opted-out" of the political process in this country and choose not to vote. I wish I could also choose not to pay taxes, serve on juries, give the government personal information just so I can buy a cold remedy, etc., but I take what I can get for now.
I am fiercely loyal to my loved ones and do not suffer fools gladly. If I don't know you, I may appear aloof and inscrutable. Don't take it personally, I'm just slow to make friends.
Don't try to patronize me, cajole me, convert me or castigate me and we'll get along famously. Beer helps, too.
A "cluebyfour" is a device that, upon application up 'side the head of a clueless user, helps clear said user's head so that they may finally achieve Cluefulness.
I've noticed there is now a "cluebyfour" on MySpace. Rest assured that isn't me. The only other services where I use the name are Yahoo! Messenger and AIM (where it's spelled kloobyfour).
